10 years ago, I stumbled upon his 90th birthday celebration at Disneyland. There was no fanfare or announcement. He was just up on a balcony talking about how thankful he was for his life and then he led the crowd in singing “Chim Chiminy” (with brass band accompaniment).
He’s an absolute treasure.

My 6 year old likes watching some science YouTube programming and I have to watch that like a hawk. Once it jumped from a show about the world’s deadliest snakes to chupacabras, and I feel like we were maybe two videos away from conspiracies about lizard people controlling the planet

See for me as a Stanford/Niners guy, the torment was having him and Doug Baldwin destroy my favorite pro team. Felt much more natural being able to cheer for him again after he joined the Niners.

Eh… he was a key part of a defense here that went to a Super Bowl. So while I can understand Seattle folks not liking it, this one feels pretty normal
