Nevermind, turns out I was running the most current monthly release, v2024.13.1.193. I will experiment with other engines and see which one feels like a good backup for the time being.

Honestly I just always default to using LTS (which I probably shouldn't 😂) I use LTS because I've experienced issues with other apps that caused my PC to crash or me to lose my work. I'll definitely check out the current version! Thank you so much, also I will definitely check out Godot as well!

Currently yes, it will only run on windows. I will look into making some games mobile friendly!
