Apparently, in the new One Stormy Night book entry this year, Mei and Gabu developed a "familial love"!
Other sources also say that the book is abt them getting through challenges of living with each other!

So yeah, to those who may be concerned, Mei and Gabu are not dead lmao

Also I've heard that, this new entry is part of a new series of books continuing Mei and Gabu's story!
A sequel to the book is set to be released this winter so...
