I'm a little sad that once again, I'm not yet match fit to go and see Alabama 3 this evening. So to console myself, I took a short stroll along to Salford Lads' Club to purchase their new limited edition fundraiser tshirt.

Very sad to hear about the passing of John Prescott. I worked with him a few times as a driver. Drove him to Wales on a campaign visit (not THAT time!), once in a high speed police escort in Sheffield and once around Doncaster. Also went to his house for tea.

Saw my cardiologist surgeon at LGI today.
As a result, I will be returning to LGI next week for a further operation to clean up my scar and hopefully get things mended. Depending on how things go, I could be in for one night or (given recent experiences) a bit longer.

It's been 19 weeks and three days since my heart operation. I'm pretty sure that I should be feeling better by now.
