It’s a lovely day to be sitting outside reading. I don’t really care much about cricket but James’ writing on specifically West Indies cricket and how it relates to race and colonialism is fantastic.

Searching Sylvan is so good, re-listened to it for the first time in nearly 10 years and was captivated all the way through, great songs with fantastic story telling, really recommend it.

Once we’re done with our Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay game I’ll be running Fabula Ultima for our group. The system seems really fun and I’ve been preparing some grade A JRPG nonsense to go along with it.

Finished FFX today and really loved it. I had minor problems with some of the late game bosses but it didn’t ruin it for me.

One of my favourite things about the PS5 is how seamless remote play is. I have 4ish hours away from home each weekend while my wife is teaching and being able to play some games via my laptop is so nice. Plus I get to use a PS4 controller which is much more comfortable for me.

1000xResist was an incredible experience but not without flaws. I loved the story and presentation but felt the ending didn't touch everything I cared about leaving me slightly cold.
But for a first game from this team though it is exceptional and has me really excited for what they do next.
