I stand by the argument that Chrono Trigger is never just for nostalgia. It's genuinely one of the few things that stands on its own merit regardless of time and is worth every bit of hype it gets.

Similar for us too! Father in law spent time living in Germany while in the Army so we got introduced to all kinds of yummy German food as well.
