Having a drink and getting philosophical. I’m struck by the difference between EMOM last night and my Jazz Cafe & VoDFest gigs. TLDR please go & show some love for your local musicians who may never make it big but are the heart & soul of what it means to be a musician. Capitalism ruins everything.

They seemed to enjoy the show, at least afterwards I couldn’t walk 5 meters before someone comes up to me to tell me how much they loved it. It’s simultaneously flattering and frightening. It would be a lot easier if I could converse in German so they’re ones having to deal with an accent. 😝

that pic is so cute. I saw a fox crossing the pedestrian crossing near our hotel last night as I was heading back. It was a bit too quick for me and was gone into the bushes by the time I got my camera out, but it was really nice to see one for real that isn’t a feral beast to be destroyed.

Studio now has 2/3 functioning lighting bars, and with the addition of the Revo LED grid effect thing we might just have the makings of world’s smallest disco dance floor.

well. turns out 47 meters of black fabric can cover a multitude of sins and make our studio look .. almost like a real one. keen to get all the gear back in and start making some fucking music, it’s been months.
but for now I must depart and leave the kids downstairs to get on with their doof.
