Travel in groups when possible. If you have colleagues, neighbors, friends or family who you can anticipate will be most targeted by federal agencies, offer to give them rides, come with them to appointments, on errands, and more. Make sure they can get where they are going safely. • Record interactions between our community and federal agents. This post from Free DC has guidance for sharing footage with the correct organizations. • Patron your favorite businesses, take up space, refuse to give in. • If you are white, use that privilege to make it clear to federal agents' that we don't want them here. Get in their way, ask questions on behalf of your neighbors. Literally boo them. • Follow @dcmigrantmutualaid, @freedcproject @harrietsdreams, your ward's mutual aid accounts for up to date information and actions. Specifically, there are two important things we want everyone to do starting tonight (from our friends at Free DC!): • Make our demand for a Free DC as visible as possible - Make signs, posters, banners, and flags and put them in your window, on your home, or anywhere else they will be seen. Wear your Free DC t-shirts, pins, buttons, or patches everywhere you go — and if you don't have these, make some and for you and your neighbors. • Be loud - Every night at 8:00 PM for as long as this occupation goes on, go outside and bang pots and pans for five minutes. When your neighbors come out and ask what's going on, talk with them about what's happening. Post your noisemaking on your social media. Invite your Ward Team members to get together and join you.

Screenshot. ADL tweet: This is a delicate moment. It’s a new day and yet so many are on edge. Our politics are inflamed, and social media only adds to the anxiety. It seems that @elonmusk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute, but again, we appreciate that people are on edge. In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath. This is a new beginning.
