On a less political note...as it has been on the chilly side the last couple of days ive introduced my eldest beagle (14) to a dog sweatshirt. I thought he would fight me on this (lol) but he has realised it provides warmth and stops him shivering so now he seems unbothered by it. ❤️

Dogs are a blessing. I have two cheeky beagles. I can impact their world by throwing a ball, giving them carrots or taking them a different walking route. It reminds me that even though I am one person, the ripples of my small actions can become waves. This can work with humans too! 😉

Wow. Very impressive. I managed to grow 4 golden delicious apple trees this year. Im not sure if they'll ever bear fruit but they sure are pretty! ❤️🌳

So after about 16 months I decided I was ready to buy a memorial ring containing my mum's ashes. It arrived this morning and im really emotional but also happy with it. My mum would definitely approve. It's beautiful and will be cherished. ❤️

Its my birthday month and I usually treat myself. This year i decided to buy a hydra water fountain...a little extravagant but it will be so lovely to listen to the trickle of water during yoga/meditation! Im very good to myself 🥰

I started growing fruit and veg during covid and every year I've gotten a little better at it. When I harvest I keep some of the produce/seeds for the next year. It never fails to amaze me when they grow into new plants. This year I'm excited about blackcurrant, cherries & hazelnuts! 😃

Good morning! A little timeline cleanse today. Sun is out and im drinking coffee in the garden. Ive been told that having these bad girls in the garden is good for the soil, other plants and the bees. Any excuse not to weed! Have a lovely day folks 😘

Well the first flowers of spring have sprung! Marsh marigold in my sink/pond my blackcurrant bush looking very healthy and some spring bulbs have finally appeared. What a lovely day...reluctant to come in after lunch but you know, work! 😃🌷🪻

Yes it is. So there are strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and honeyberries. I've also got blackcurrant, cherry and even hazelnut bushes. My seedlings are in the kitchen but I'm feart to finish my greenhouse! 😆

So atm it is 7° but the sun is out. My garden is very tightly coiled and is about to....SPRING open! 🌱🥰 I'm also very chuffed that 2 of my bird boxes have had visitors...fingers crossed they move in! Beautiful day folks, make it count. 😃

No need for a cut in the welfare budget. They already save £15.4bn from unclaimed benefits. Maybe they should target those avoiding tax instead. Just a thought or is that too radical for the red tories?
