The cool thing about this vac is that it is almost silent. I started using it without turning it on, with just the grooming attachments. As Piper got used to it, I could gradually increase the volume (and thus the suction). In a few days, she went from hissing at it to begging for it. Daily fun.

Try vacuuming. It fixed mine.
