We built this cap because we were done with the flimsy ones—ours is shock-absorbing, grippy, and built to last.

Conclusion:
Hyperfocal distance = more control, less guesswork.

If you want clean, crisp shots edge to edge, it’s a concept worth learning — no equations required.

5. Why this matters:
You won’t always want bokeh.
Sometimes you want clarity everywhere — and this is how to get it.

It’s especially useful when you don’t have time for focus stacking or when your phone dies and you’re on a mountaintop with no signal.

4. How do you set it?
📱 Use apps like HyperFocal Pro, DoF Master, or DoF Calculator
🔧 On manual lenses: align aperture hashmark with ∞ symbol
🧠 On modern lenses:

Focus to infinity

Pull back just until it starts to blur

Then nudge it forward again

3. What affects your hyperfocal distance?
🧮 Sensor size
📐 Focal length
🔆 Aperture
🧠 Crop factor (yes, it matters)

General rules:
📏 Wider lens = shorter hyperfocal
🔆 Higher f-stop = shorter hyperfocal
📷 Bigger sensor = shorter hyperfocal

2. No, you don’t just crank your aperture to f/22.
🔍 That causes diffraction = blur.
🎯 The real trick is to keep your aperture in the “sweet spot” (like f/8)
…and use hyperfocal distance to stretch your focus range.

1. What is hyperfocal distance?
It’s the focus point that gives you the deepest possible depth of field.
📷 Focus there → everything from that point to infinity stays sharp.

Perfect for:
🌄 Landscapes
🏙 Street scenes
🏞 Travel shots
