Checks and balances are a corrective action but the system is rotten at its core and can't stand on its own two legs without yt supremacy and exploitation propping it up

Ultimately my opinion is capitalism would have failed were it not for 300+ years of slavery and exploitation. The US built its massive wealth on the backs of slaves and without that barbaric practice wouldve fallen to corruption and malfeasance much much sooner.
