Assuming a bio-boy is a girl inside, no doubts, I am 100% of allowing them to transition pre-puberty and fully participating in girls/women's sports. And, happy w/ my insurance paying for it.

Look, I think in most cases, communities will do the right thing based on specific facts. And, my heart does break for trans persons. I support vast majority of trans rights/recognitions, just not legal RIGHT to participate in women's league's like NCAA BB, etc.

I agree that female sports should be open to pre-puberty transitioning girls. Difficult societal issue though. How can society be sure that a child is capable of making an independent, fully informed decision to transition. It's a terrible paradox b/c ideal time to transition is pre-puberty.

I empathize w/ you. It would suck being born with a female brain inside of a male body. But, I don't think we can make an all or nothing rule on this. It's very, very complicated and nuanced.

Studies are mixed. In some cases, hormone therapy mitigates inherent physical advantages (muscle/bone mass , etc) males have over females. By your one-size fits all philosophy, if Labron James decided to transition at age 20, he should have been able to participate in women's NCAA BB?

I support trans rights, and the idea of trans people does not upset me in the least. But, you are extremely naive if you believe that any and all trans women should be able to participate in girls sports w/o unfair advantages.

Agree, that's why I believe leagues and states should decide. This should not be a Constitutional right imposed on every state/city/league.

So, it's fair for a 21 year old woman who has just transitioned, is 6'3", weighs 240 Lbs and can jump out of the ceiling, to play collegiate women's BB on scholarship? I say no, same as steroids or other PED Nothing to do w/ recognizing gender.

Newsome didn't throw LGBT under th bust. He's against forcing sports league's to allow trans girls to participate or to force places to allow trans girls/women into female locker rooms/bath rooms. These are fair viewpoints. Most women (Dems/progs) I know agree w/ this.

Normally not a conspiracy theorist, but I've heard that PDX Metro homeless industrial complex is against ending homelessness cuz it will end their cushy millions and millions of "consulting" fees.

As an OR Dem, I say to Dems, wake-up call. We need a sales tax, and we need caps on income taxes. Too easy to move to WA or other state tax friendlier state w/ better economies.

Perhaps you are correct, but I'll take PPS over ICE and others any day. They are not all perfect but they are not bad, and we need them. AND, homeless sweeps are a good thing, so long as we have a healthy and safe place to move them to.
