I read today that they’re going to go after the phrase “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” to claim that illegal immigrants have not agreed to be subject to said jurisdiction and therefore their children who were born here are not entitled to citizenship.

That’s not a surprise. The American public has a right to know what’s in that report, but I don’t expect it to ever see the light of day.
