Got to do some rock hounding in SD

So this is my project that I have to quickly repair before the snow starts to fall up here. But for the price of free and sweat equity I can't complain.

Sometimes, I find cool rocks at work. This is a piece of fossil coral I cut and polished.

Windy day at work but nice scenery.

Perks of the job working on a wildlife refuge. You get paid to enjoy fall colors.

Been enjoying my other favorite hobby alot lately. Lapidary I've always enjoyed collecting rocks and now I have the tools to cut, tumble and polish them here are just a small selection of the ones I've done.

I finally made it to blue sky
