I prefer John Carpenter’s version to The Thing from Another World (1951), but the latter is still very creepy and builds tension quite effectively.

It’s incredible how the show seemingly bends and refracts around Scorpius at times, but he never overpowers it or overstays his welcome. A real testament to how well they balanced all the separate elements of Farscape.

Obsessed with this character when I was a youth. I hated him at first because I couldn’t countenance an apparent villain of the week supplanting the main antagonist, but the writers and Wayne’s performance quickly won me over.
