Prior to the next presidential elections, I believe the following changes are essential: 1) eliminate the slave-era electoral college, 2) eliminate voter-selection gerrymandering, 3) vet potential candidates to preempt incompetent/criminal/antidemocratic from running.

Having worked in prisons for many years, I can tell you that had I been instrumental in helping an inmate mail a letter, I would have been fired and walked out that day. Interesting how different things are for people doing Trump's bidding.

SNAP funds are being withheld or slowed down in November. Those making those decisions need to be reminded that Thanksgiving is in November. Thanks are give for the abundance in our country, not causing hunger and want unnecessarily.

We really need to gift a dictionary to every MAGA mouth. They truly don't understand what they say, if that's what they mean. For instance: deal. Some things are non-negotiable to you, others not so important. Same with me. We decide together what's mutually acceptable. That's a deal.

Dear Gov. Newsom, as a long-standing California citizen, please consider my suggestion: when the federal government withholds funds for a CA program, simply withhold the taxed funds CA sends to the federal coffers. Red states can balance their budgets some other way. Zero sum gain.

Why are people surprised about a possible Trump/Epstein connection? Trump was bragging about walking into dressing areas in his Miss Universe pageant, including the Miss Teen USA pageants. After all, he owned them.

When a convicted felon sits in the WH, when anyone with a tenth of his convictions would be sitting in prison, and SCOTUS sanctions masked, unidentified militia pulling people off streets into unmarked cars to be sent to foreign concentration camps, then America has ceased being a nation of laws.
