Why are people so obsessed with blame when people vent about mundane annoyances in a relationship? No, person A isn't saying person B is a monster. No, person B isn't a monster. Yes, person A is allowed to vent about their relationship even if it's healthy. They're human beings. Treat them like it.🤦

How about we worry less, as a society, about whether individuals might be cheating to get a disability accommodation or some help buying food, and more about whether extremely wealthy people and corporations are paying their fair share of taxes?

Last week, ICE arrested and separated a father and son after a routine check-in. Six-year-old Yuanxin had just enrolled in the first grade at an elementary school in Astoria. Now he's in custody, alone. ICE won't say where. This cruelty serves no one. It must end.

The homeless work harder just to stay alive than any member of the working class does at their job. The homeless never get breaks & don't have a house to go to after work. We're all slaves to the capitalist system. You'd think the slaves w/ more privilege would have compassion for the ones w/ less.

I've had the same infection since December 2024 bc as a homeless & disabled person, I haven't been able to recover from it outside, especially with so many doctors refusing to listen to me about being immunocompromised. Our "great nation," the U.S. - land of the slaves, home of the sick & starving.

Headed back to my PCP because I've had this same infection since December of last year, and the hospital is STILL forcing me to deal with it outpatient no matter how many times my outpatient doctors tell me hospitalization is necessary. The U.S. medical system is bullshit. 🙃

1. "You have an abnormality on your frontal lobe. Don't worry. It's normal."
2. "You don't need oxygen to breathe."
3. "Sleep deprivation isn't an emergency. It's not like it can kill you."
4. "This is urgent! We'll put you on a 3yr wait-list."

Got a thorough & proactive Dr at the ER last night. She expressed frustration at how the medical system fails disabled people like me & agreed I need to be admitted. Then disclosed the criteria to admit someone for an infection here is so ridiculous/unreasonable that she actually WASN'T ALLOWED. 🤦

Today the lead at the local homeless resource center assaulted my boyfriend and stole the food he was making for me because he's angry that I spoke up about how he abuses the local homeless population. I'm wheelchair-bound and hypoglycemic, and I didn't get to eat until after 5:00 PM because of him.
