Patch has been dropping by every day or so since but this is the first time Redbull’s come with. And the first time I’ve managed footage without scaring them off. It’s hard enough just staying in my house without spooking them. I have to keep the blinds closed all the time lol.

This time, however, they aren’t snacking on dead fish, but a dead opossum that showed up in my yard last week. I moved the opossum to the hill so it wasn’t stinking up my front yard and so the foot traffic would be less likely to scare off my favorite cleanup crew.

I sure hope so!

I’m gonna be up there in a week too! Any advice on how (and where) to find and photograph owls?

Haha they were not still at all. I basically had my shutter speed as fast as possible for the lighting and then took like 20-30 photos, which resulted in about 3 that I actually liked. Here’s one of the other photos I ended up keeping from that session.
