Did they accidentally use a beta version for the normal release or smth? Or was it Atari Italy (DDI's publisher in that country) requesting those changes? If it was the latter why didn't they also translate the game to Italian?

I worked on it for a month, mainly writing the plot (which was an origin story/reboot) and fleshing out the characters with what little material i had, plus doing design and gameplay concepts

it was intended to be official btw, but the rights owner never responded so I reworked it and reused the witch character cuz i liked her the most and I barely had to change her redesign

development has been very funny so far since it started with a totally different gameplay and tone, and was meant to be a reboot of an infamous series
and now all that remains from that era is the main character's design and name, since the former is radically different to the original

I watched this on Halloween cuz ofc I had to. Despite being such a simple movie that has been copied many times it holds up very well.
All the scares have great build-up and red herrings, and don't have to rely on blasting your ears to still be impactful, unlike modern horror.
