Gadsden, Alabama. What a wonderful abandoned storefront. The dudes at the auto repair shop looked at me crazy for taking a few photos of it, but I'm pretty used to that reaction by now.

Birds of Bessemer, Alabama and yes, you guessed it, expired film. I have a whole bunch of film people have given me, or I've found in the bottom of a dusty camera bag at an estate sale, and I'm working my way through it. Sometimes, it's...ok.

I love the ever loving hell out this 6x9 camera. I think I'm going to send it off to a dude named Frank to fix though because sometimes it eats frames and I'll be real, this may be The Camera Chris Has Been Searching For To Be The One True Camera. Well, for medium format at least.

Perfect Nails, Red Mountain Plaza. It gets dark early, so it's night photography at 6pm now. Not crazy about the framing of the second shot but I was mildly concerned some nail people were gonna yell at me.

I have no clue what happened to the rest of this building but I'm glad they left this part, it looks like a Roman ruin or something.

I'm sure I'll shoot it again, but these 6x9 negatives are probably as good as it gets. Unfortunately focusing a 4x5 at night sounds like a problem.

Once a week I have about 30 minutes near this waiting on my kid, and I guess I'm just going to keep shooting it. This was shot on the Fuji G690, Fomapan 400 which has a ridiculous reciprocity failure rate- all of these shots were over 20 seconds. BUT, it worked. They look cool. A couple more below.
