I'm heading to the bookstore. Want anything while I'm there? 📚

I'm on a train in Austria and a gentleman is reading The God of the Woods by Liz Moore (I was curious and googled the title lol).

I've been on the library's waitlist for this book since February! (currently 108th in line. Started at 455th lol) #BookSky 📚

On a scenic train ride to Graz, Austria where it will be our home base during the Grand Prix this weekend.

Look at Lando Norris hanging around our hotel in Vienna! 😛 #F1

After two days of walking around Vienna, I am VERY glad we decided to go to the Grand Prix this weekend where I'll be mostly sitting.

Looks like we missed out on a good aurora display tonight. It has been KP7 and KP8 all evening! View from the Cypress Mountain cam in BC Canada around 1:30am.

I was able to buy an HBC multistripe point blanket during their last online restock. It claims to be "heirloom quality", so I'll need to decide which one of the nieces and nephews is my favourite in the will 🤔

If you don't absolutely need to replace the Olympia SM9's feet - DON'T! What a PIA. The feet are basically stapled to the frame, so you have to take the the frame apart to uncrimp the metal tabs, then live in fear they'll break when you push them back down 😓 #Olympia #Typewriter

Hoya Krinkle is blooming. It kind of smells like a Tootsie Roll.

After I read the yellow highlighted line, I said out loud to my husband "aeons is another weird English word - why is there an a in front??". We had a good laugh after I read the green highlighted part. See image.

It's funnier because the author is my old high school English teacher 😄

Today's haul from the used bookstore. I guess I'm collecting first editions Stephen King books now 😄

I recently purchased the paperback of Lisey's Story, but the hardcopy was just too beautiful to pass up!

I gasped when I saw Stuart McLean's book. He was an amazing Canadian storyteller. Check out his radio show and recordings. #CanadianAuthor

This is the first time since I started watching F1 that I’ve felt anxious for a team to do well. Qualifying in *checks time* 1.5 hr 😬😬😬

I wish the Griffith Observatory would keep the camera zoomed out so that we can see the whole moon.

Here's a time chart of the eclipse:

This is what the weather looks like for the next few days. Why are we still getting snow in March?? I'm hoping the sky stays clear enough for us to see the total lunar eclipse tonight. #Vancouver

I thought about the US while reading this.

From "Station Eleven" by Emily St John Mandel. A novel that takes place before and after a pandemic that devastated the world and killed most of the population.
