it's a friends with benefits smut fic
the situation is this: two characters are in a fwb relationship. Ren is attached to Akira in some way, he isn't quite sure in what way, but he eventually decides it's love. Akira lets Ren do (almost) anything touching/sex-wise, except kissing. One day they just end up in some deal that requires Ren to do anything Akira wants for the rest of the week, and in exchange Akira will do whatever Ren wants. Ren guns for that kiss™ my choices here are now in what kinda relationship they should end up with because i got 1. akira's refusal to kiss ren is a result of abandonment issues, and he's just afraid of attaching himself too hard to ren. the dam breaks when they get to akira's part of the deal and they realize they were hormonal teens™ pining for each other 2. akira doesn't love in the conventional way, and he doesn't want ren to get his hopes up. there's no denying he's as attached to ren as ren is attached to him, but he's hesitant about anything non-sexual because he's afraid it won't be enough for ren. ren ends up not caring and they end up in a queerplatonic relationship

Something that sounds like a moan comes from Akechi while he tilts his head to the other side, the noise increasing in volume when Ryuji’s arms tighten their grip on the older boy. Akechi’s eyes flutter open, but before Ren can do anything—shut the door, scream, run away—in response to seeing the brunet’s clearly glazed over ruby-colored orbs, Akechi’s eyes rip open wide with horror. “Amamiya?!” Akechi managed to exclaim once he manages to tear himself away from Ryuji’s face. “Why are you bringing up Ren now?” Ryuji grumbles. “No—just—turn around you idiot,” Akechi hisses at the blond and pulls away from him.
