i was talking about kanamom and how it’s interesting that her favorite flower was white carnations, since she probably knew what they meant
but maybe she loved them BECAUSE they made her feel happy that kanade would have something to remember her by? and she wanted to teach kanade that association

she's looking out at the world before her, and it's so beautiful, so touching that she has to cover her mouth. that does make the most sense given her expression, but it leaves you wondering: if she's covering her mouth, why are her hands facing outward?

maybe she's just said something embarrassing, something she'd never say? people cover their mouths in times like those. she doesn't normally share her true feelings, so it'd check out. but let's look at it from another angle.

her name on nightcord is "amia." we know why from a story perspective, that it comes from an anime character she loves, but it's also worth noting that "amia" backwards is "aima (合間)", which refers to an empty space, or an interval. she can't live the way she wants to,

but when her new visual was released, the lollipop had become green - a sign that she's decided she wants to move forward. (manzanita also pointed out that it's now heart-shaped, maybe showing that she's found her true feelings that have calmed, or that she's freed her heart!)

green means go. move forward. you can think of a green light as "move toward the future." but speaking of green, we've seen it elsewhere in her card arts. her first 2-star has her holding a lollipop that's half-red (well, pink, but not my words) and half-green. it can't decide whether to stop or go.

going through an insanely interesting JP video about mizu6's card arts, and i just wanted to share what it has to say. first off, in flower language, daisies mean "just the way you are." really, truly fitting for mizuki. and the minute you look at the trained art, the green lights pop out at you.

Two notable exceptions are her art in Mafu5 and Kana5 - though not being suffocated, in these artworks you can see that she's being stifled, the turtleneck in Mafu5 soft but overbearing, straining her, much like the rest of her outfit.
