How many nights in a row can you fail to sleep before hallucinating just becomes your life now.

Staring at a blank word doc daily, unable to write.

Repeatedly hitting cancel on attempts at social media participation.

My give a shit is completely broken.

Introverts of the virtual world, tell me how you’re surviving knowing that tens of millions of people voted for this destruction.

When your doctor wants to give you an SSRI and you’re trying to explain it won’t do a damn thing for the swift slide into authoritarianism happening before our very eyes.

Tell me how you’re coping with this shit.

I cannot fully express my sense of embarrassment, shame, and rage after watching the live stream of the meeting in the Oval Office today.

The President of the United States and his VP are both giant steaming piles of Shit.

February is a difficult month and seasonal depression has been aggravated by a political nightmare from which I cannot wake.

It feels like the moment I return to a neglected social media platform, there are dozens more dipshits to block.

He’s going to crash the economy sooner than I expected.

The only thing that orange asshole excels at is breaking shit.

Bribery, graft, fraud and political patronage are common mechanisms for intersecting corporate and political criminality.

It is immensely painful watching the US repeat history.

Reading some replies this morning that play out like MAGAts but from the other side of the aisle.

Anyone can be an asshole regardless of political affiliation.

Sometimes it’s the only reasonable choice.

But doing so while also being loudly obtuse is contemptible regardless of political identity.

The tiny letters on my screen are telling me that I need reading glasses.

Since I can’t read them terribly well, I’m not getting the message clearly.

I follow some academics, writers, libraries, museums, and media in the UK. Maybe some other interesting folks across the pond.

For this, I’ve been placed on this user’s “conservative-following block list.”

This shows that anyone with a grudge can create a blocklist regardless of accuracy.

I’ve started stockpiling dry beans, rice, flour, tinned fish, and seeds for my little vegetable garden.

Am I missing anything?

The state of Texas hates women and would rather they die instead of having bodily autonomy. The doctors in Texas are COWARDS who don’t deserve their medical licenses.
NEW: Porsha Ngumezi is the fifth case we've reported on in which a woman died after not receiving a D&C or its second-trimester equivalent in time, or at all.

Her case raises questions about how abortion bans are pressuring doctors to avoid standard care even in straightforward miscarriages.

This year’s opening scene of seasonal affective disorder feels more hyperbolic than years past, although I suspect it is well-deserved given the apparent deep-seated malady that besets our deteriorating human condition.

Am I the only one experiencing a sense of schadenfreude watching Twitter become MySpace?

I've been here since you had to wait in line for the secret handshake entry code to this nascent social media experiment.

I'm thrilled to see all of you leaving that dark place for bluer skies. I was hoping you'd join us eventually and leave that toxic oligarch's playground behind.

Hi I'm a NASA engineer new to bluesky. I'm passionate about organizing locally and regionally to survive the next few years of the incoming administration, then taking power back to rebuild.

This is a shameless ask to repost this so I can build a quality network of like-minded individuals on here.
