• they might have an eating disorder

• people are more than their weight
• it reinforces that being thin is better

For those unfamiliar- Scoped is a new framework which enshrines the medical model and pathologisation, it also heavily favours freud/jungian practitioners

The woman, who we are calling Anna, said he was "fascinated" by the fact she dated women and asked her the "logistics" of how it worked.

Some have said the assisted dying debate has been "parliament at its best". I'm not so sure. Instead I think religion has quietly played a dominant role in the debate, distorted the conversation, with few believing MPs being straightforward about why. I know someone who changed their name to a 'man's' name in therapy facebook groups and it totally changed how they were responded to, and the level of deference they received. And this is a profession in which men are significantly in the minority.

In 2018, I could find little literature on how being #workingclass might influence learning and engagement in HE. So I wrote 👇. This was inspired by watching the way working class nurses used humour (or inclusive forms of banter) to engage my dad at the bedside of my dying mum.
