Today, I embossed the velvet and I’m working on thread marking all pattern pieces. I used TPU stamps and a heatpress to crush the velvet

So the day I sewed the trousers together I had drank some pre-workout, thinking I would go to the gym that morning. Plottwist: I didn’t go to the gym and I spend my day buzzing on caffeine jitters and forgetting to take any photos while sewing the trousers. I just need to add the eyelets now.

Here you can see how I made a hole in the back of the trousers to fit the tail through. It can be closed with a zipper for the human version

Base layers. Highlights, low lights, red wash. Shadows and highlights again.

Antiqued the leather parts after dying and painting. After a varnish layer I will cut out the waistband knotwork and glue/sew it onto this basketweave leather

Finished tail and belt. The knees still need their lining on the inside but I’m not sure yet now I’m gonna attach them so I’m waiting until I’ve finished the trousers.

Took me some working on and off on it, but the waistband for Halsin’s trousers is done. It’s not neat or perfect since I did it all by hand, but I don’t care 🤷‍♂️
