and if we are being real the show wouldn’t have lasted if they had kept with hamon. Very much an 80s thing unfortunately.

Also haha it’s coming off like I hate the stand system but I don’t, I love stands and think it was an excellent shift from hamon i just also think hamon is a very interesting power system that did not get explored enough post BT. Also because we never see another hamon user again after SDC 👎👎

You miss out on sooo much symbolism when you skip parts but I’m also a PB glazer so I’m biased. That and I never see people discuss the differences between PB & SDC Dio!!! They are almost completely different characters and you can’t explore that if you skip!!!!

Plus with Phantom Blood you miss out on a very tragic short adventure that builds the premise for the entire show. EVERYTHINGGGG in this show ties back to Jonathan and Dio. That stupid vampire has been beefing with this family for 131 years now and then again in an entirely different universe.

Also you miss out on how much Stone Ocean mirrors Phantom Blood. They are sister parts. Idk watch it however you want but I think skipping any part is doing a serious disservice to yourself and the show considering how much you’ll miss out on and not understand if you do.

the amount of characters you won’t have any background for. Jotaro goes far back as part 2 (technically 🤓). Jolyne is his daughter, Pucci’s tie with Dio, there’s so much that part 6 builds on from the previous parts and you just dive head first into it with no background?? Seriously??😭

I’ve come to accept most people skip pt 1/2 because hamon vampire fighting is too boring compared to stands (it’s not.☝️) for some reason but I think starting off with pt.6 when that part is the ending of the original universe is insane. Not to mention
