They live in a different world with different "facts." It's impossible to talk with them because there is no common ground to start an honest conversation.

The vast majority of Americans doesn't know what's going on. They live in their right wing "news" bubble, accepting that propaganda at face value. I tell them what's going on, and all they say is, "Oh, that's not happening! I haven't heard that!", and then I'm accused of being a conspiracy nut.

I grew up in Texas, and back in the day we called this the "cow patty" haircut.
