Then show it to him you want to be treated as an equal. Sometimes people just won't get the hint and need a direct answer. It's not easy to ask, I wish it was, but being upfront about how you want to be treated may do you some good.

Immediately the unkillable part is what makes the whole balance with Sy unfair. He still gets a chance to fix his mistakes but we only get one try. If we're outz everyone else will have to fix what we were supposed to solve and that sucks. ":P Have him understand you don't take pity easily and

You work hard all the time, though. Maybe really emphasize with Sy that you're not looking for pity or being treated like a literal child. You just want him to know you also try your hardest, and that's it.

Well... I hate to say it but Sylus feels out of touch when you put it that way. *Leans against the wall, shaking her head* I understand he wants to soothe you but at the same time, I feel like he needs to understand WHY you feel so small compared to him. If that makes sense.
