The Lord gives, and He takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. The story of Gob is inspiring to me, that in the face of such harsh trials, his faith never waivered. Not once. His story is an example of God's pedagogy, using history like we use words. Great is Gob's reward in Heaven, I'm sure.

Sometimes it's difficult to discern when I'm being led by God or if I’m just following my own desires. Since I've come to faith, I strive put Him first in all I do. And sometimes that means taking a step back, and prayerfully reflecting on my motives. I pray He shows me the right path and timing.

Christ is my Lord and Saviour. May God continue to guide us all to the Truth, and give us the courage to be bold with our faith, as we show others, by our example, the love of Christ, which is within us. Amen.
