I don't know if they have this in the fancy paid stats packages, but I've always thought maybe a rolling 'distance from nearest opp player' could be interesting. See who's finding space going forwards and marking tightly in defence. Not sure how useful it could be

I had no clue. I didn't spot the signs in my little boy that his pre-school did because they were all things I did when i was younger (very picky eater, late talker, plays on his own, doesn't like noise/touch etc.) Only when I learned about his autism that mine became obvious to me

I had no evidence, my mum's passed and my Dad's nearly 80 and can't remember, so didn't have a filled in relatives questionnaire. No doubt more evidence would make the diagnosis easier, but mine happened without it

Yes UK, in Berkshire. First step is talking to GP to get a referral, then you get a big questionnaire to fill in and send back and join the waiting list. It was through NHS Berkshire so presumably wait times will vary by region.

I just got my diagnosis at 40 a couple of months ago. Same as you, looking at videos and testimony from adult autistics. Not all rang true, but parts that did hit me like a train. Diagnosis took 5 years all in, but glad I did it. Kind of only just discovering who I am now, not trying to hide it
