With storms rapidly popping up in S ON, it is important to remember the difference between a Tornado Watch and Warning, just in case we do see some activity today.

There is some clearing ongoing in S ON which is helping to fuel the potential for severe storms. Shear is in place. Stay #weatheraware this afternoon as things may develop. Storms could be fast moving if they do develop. #onstorm

NW ON will have primarily a rainfall risk today but the same system could bring a severe storm risk to S ON tomorrow. Stay #weatheraware Risk for a tornado is low but can't be entirely ruled out. Let's see how things develop over the next 24 hours.
