Iori's canon look is 100% inspired by Flint and Anne Bonny in Black Sails! I wish they'd leaned more into the pirate aesthetic in-game for the Lords of Fortune.

But her Veilguard look got away from me a bit to where she doesn't look exactly like her original but still retains enough to still be somewhat similar to the original design. Now I'm so attached to her updated design I feel its too "her" to choose someone who isn't, yknow?

Iori Laidir is the one I have trouble with. Her original design in the DAI cc was very close to Jessie Mei Li bc I was watching Shadow and Bone s1.
