A reminder that not all disabilites look the same. In order to create a supportive community all must be welcomed. Inclusion matters!

Our theme this year is “Power in Unity”- celebrating grassroots disabled people power and highlighting the importance of allies both disabled and non-disabled from within our movement.

This is Cindy Bently, who has an amazing life story. She grew up in the institution Southern Wisconsin Center and was able to get out.  She has traveled the world as a Special Olympics Ambassador and currently runs the statewide organization People First.
