The only one I can know of is Unfinity, which had supply chain disruptions due to covid. I think it was related to the special glue used for the stickers or something. Kinda crazy that it took such a convergence of issues for them to need to delay!

Maple bacon. The flavors compliment each other surprisingly well

That's factored into real income. Real income is income after adjusting for the cost of living.

Thanks for the good read 👍

No worries.

A lot of the footage has wireframe models, camera's at isometric angles, or camera's going through walls. At least for those ones, it's pretty clearly not being passed as real footage.

The only things that don't exist that I can find mentioned are things like using the same model of a hamas command room being used across multiple bases, but that's not a meaningful discrepancy unless the base is much different or if it's nonexistent.

Maybe I missed it. Where does the article say that? I see this excerpt that suggests the footage could be misleading as if it was directly from the mission room, but nowhere that it's being passed off as actual footage.

Two questions that I'd be interested in finding out about: Is it abnormal for 3D mockups like these to reuse assets in this way? Was there any major discrepancy found between the mockups and things they represent? (like a hamas base that is a lot smaller than depicted)

Seems like it's to promote a membership card that doesn't give access to any kind of medical device www.ksbw.com/article/medb...

Nope. Mine's the same as always.

There seems to be dispute on whether police reduce crime in the first place.

They do in the hit game Metal Gear Solid for PSX

There being other things that reduce speeding doesn't mean that police don't also reduce speeding.
August 29, 2025 at 2:19 PM
Yes, I am aware of traffic cameras. They are very useful at reducing speeding.

There's some limited evidence that there may be long term health impacts for residents. Some residents and visiting CDC employees reported acute health symptoms and there have been lingering chems in interiors. I haven't found any reports that overtly say long term health impacts are likely though.

I used the number because I falsely assumed it'd be about the same. Also this argument isn't exactly on what the most cost effective way to reduce traffic fatalities is, it's on whether police reduce it.

Traffic police typically have guns in the US. I wouldn't be able to answer whether that's good or bad.
August 28, 2025 at 10:26 PM
Yes, but their power is ultimately backed by police officers who have the power to arrest. I believe in many countries traffic cops don't normally carry guns and that seems to work fine in those cases!
August 28, 2025 at 10:21 PM
Because to enforce the law, you need the ability to arrest (or use force) at some point in the process. Hypothetically a non-police officer handle things who calls police as needed, but in most cases, it makes sense to just have the police officer handle it from the start.

Forgive me, the 600 number is the number of people fatally *shot* by police annually.
August 28, 2025 at 9:58 PM
I agree the US is bad at traffic safety! It was comparable until around 1990. I think it was related to vehicle regulations (cars are bigger in the US), but it doesn't mean police don't reduce traffic accidents pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...

Notably, I'm the only one between us who has compared these two numbers.
