If much of Scotland didn't have mindless sectarianism them independence would be an inevitability. Sadly, many follow the mantra that aristrocacy/monarchy are the good guys and we must endlessly fund them, whilst they also hold latent racism against most others.

Bear in mind however, when UK was in EU, the policies of successful UK Govs made English/Welsh/NI towns poorest anyway.
Critical point here is that Scotland had the poorest towns prior to SNP in power. A more progressive gov that provides for ppl not tax breaks fir the richest. The money is there.

Bear in mind however, when UK was in EU, the policies of successful UK Govs made English/Welsh/NI towns poorest anyway.
Critical point here is that Scotland had the poorest towns prior to SNP in power. A more progressive gov that provides for ppl not tax breaks fir the richest. The money is there.
