My partners pointed out how much my art was improving, so I decided to do a little challenge. I took the oldest drawing I have a photo of and did a redraw in my style today. Safe to say the 11 year difference is a massive glow up.

This one is @mercysewerpyro.bsky.social 's OC. I spent the most time on this one by far, a whole 7 hours that wrecked my wrist for like 2 days because I didn't stop and rest. Don't be like me kids.

Idly, he traces the constellations that orbit the Earth with his optics. They're so different from the ones he memorized in space, and he thinks that he knew what these ones were called once. He'd probably known them better than the ones that orbit the distant planets he remembers. Now he only knows two or three here. He can pick out Cygnus, and the Little Dipper. He bets Juurouta would be able to tell him what they all were. Bull Armor too. … Windy would just make up new constellations to get a laugh out of him. He smiles and it's rueful, sad. His chest is tight, but he's used to that ache. (The ache is better than the crushing nothing from before.)

Have I been doing a lot of writing? Not as much as I should. But I did make this cute graphic for the last Arcane Dom push on #flightrising.

Rowan opened their mouth and then closed it again before sighing through their nose. "You would make politicians quake in their boots, Marienne. I find it quite hard to argue with you." Marienne laughed, tilting towards them and using their shoulder to keep herself upright. "That is only because you don't know me that well yet, Rowan. I think you'll find me quite easy to argue with, and even easier to lose against."

Rowan let out a slow and shaky breath. Their fingertips trembled against her jaw. "Oh," they whispered, "so that's how a kiss should feel." Marienne laughed and trapped Rowan's hand against her cheek with her other hand, leaning into it. "Oh? Care to share with the common folk, Rowan?" They flushed dark enough that Marienne could see it in the light of the moon. "It was… warm. Like a warm drink after a cold day. Home." Their nose started to turn bright pink, the color dusting out on their cheeks. "I… did not know it could be soft."
