I have about 10 .bat files with ffmpeg commands and i just drag and drop 1 or multiple files onto them. Or use davinci resolve for more advanced stuff.

That was my impression too, but i haven't spent a whole lot of time figuring it out either. I just expect none of these sites to be true p2p levels of freedom. Would love to see a combo of torrent for pub/sub of users and a cache system like wordpress to store my content but easily move it too.

Is mastodon better in that reapect? I use it but it seems pretty sparse in terms of game dev community to me. So i dont use it often. I also just dont "get it" . Its supposed to be more open but transferring to another stack looked like a pain when i briefly tried.

Is it using a depth map on the heli sprite? Cause that looks like polys to me. Very convincing if its a sprite. Looks great either way.

I'm sure they do. We all have choices to make. And open source can provide that option too. Nothing stops a company from branching and taking that responsibility with good open source models. And then offering a SLA as a product.
