We didn’t go green. We outsourced production, pollution, and responsibility.
Fast fashion is the clearest example: cheap, disposable, shipped across the world — and sold as progress.
Climate honesty starts with consumption.

★★★★★ Hillbilly Elegy — J. D. Vance
A raw, unsentimental memoir about class, family, and responsibility. No excuses, no ideology—just lived experience and hard truths about why upward mobility breaks and what it costs to escape. Essential reading.

Educated — Tara Westover
An extraordinary memoir, deservedly praised. Powerful and honest, but at times repetitive, which keeps it just shy of five stars for me. Still an essential read.

⭐⭐☆☆☆
After The Terminal List, True Believer was a disappointment for me — less focus, less tension, too much sprawl. I’ll still try book three, but this one didn’t deliver.

Blood Impact doesn’t try to impress — it delivers. Tight pacing, controlled violence, clear stakes.
As someone who reads everything from thrillers to non-fiction: this one stands out.

I’ve just begun the Reece series from the start and I’m curious how it develops. Strong opening. The Terminal List still holds up—tight pacing, hard edge, no filler. A rare thriller that knows exactly what it wants to be. Five stars, easily.

A murder, but no simple whodunit: Murder at the Agora uses crime to expose Athens as a political battlefield. Dense atmosphere, precise detail, intelligent dialogue. Historical crime fiction with real analytical depth.

Just finished Murder at the Agora — such a vivid return to Athens.
Now diving into Book 2, Shadows at the Acropolis.
Unfortunately the series is only on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited right now… I normally prefer Apple Books, but Athens was calling.

New here.
I write about culture, resilience, and the forces that shape modern societies. Exploring how ideas influence behavior — and how narratives become power.
This is The Tolerance Trap — the starting point of many of those reflections.
