You really underestimate the amount of control, even if indirect, the current dictatorship has over the media and the limited degree to which most americans actually care unless it hits their neighbors. The US is a fully fascist authoritarian regime without check and balances. No more La-la land.

When do we want to argue this? I've been saying we need to expand the Scheveningen Jail since the start of this US administration given WW2 precedent. But for any of it to work in actual international law, we would need US cooperation with international law, counter invasion plans.

If anything this a major incentive for the rest of the west to unite without america. If this lasts more than two weeks it will hurt the US forever.

What you fail to address is that the EU is trade hub, where transfer of goods is more important than the taking in of goods. And the EU citizens are very much inclined to encourage a middle finger to the US.

And most of this started around the time trickle economics became popular around the time of who again? Where it would be the rich showering wealth on the poor instead of them getting economic assistance?

He doesn't, China is export driven to increase asset holdings. He doesn't actually support globalization, his aim is to create dependence and has been met with sanctions and imminent economic strife. Your view of actual economic theory is tainted by right wing propaganda.

It's not trade with china that did that. Trading with china is what brought you cheaper goods, competitive advantage at work. What led to the loss of jobs is the lack of reinvestment of those gains into american competitive advantage at the behest of shareholder profits.
