Debunking can be a fun way to find an audience in science communication, but I think it can be over-relied on.

Making powerful people look silly helps delegitimise them but only if you use it to show that they're dangerously incompetent. Pretending that their silly actions have little consequence is essentially accepting that this is normal and always has been. It's not. It's new and terrifying.
Current internal battle: Should I be terrified of Trump on main, or should I recognize that pretending like he has powers he does not have helps to grant him those powers.

Can we just take a second to agree how absolutely garbage the Google phone "news" recommendation tab is. I find it hard to believe anyone would voluntarily subject themselves to it.

Disembarking a plane reveals the worst, most selfish qualities in some people. It's strange how people will do almost anything to be the first out of a plane for no good reason.

As an adult i've learned to keep my myopic thoughts and opinions to myself but I figured it would be fun to get an account here so I can indulge the self centered part of me that's desperate to tell everybody how wrong they are and right I am.
