We do not owe these demonizers good and pleasant.
We owe our friends and families and communities love and support. Some days that looks like fighting back.

However… when people are deported out of fear mongering, their gender used to demonize them, their bodily autonomy threatened day after day… it is not good or pleasant.

It’s almost like you can just ASK a person, and believe them, but that’s way too simple.
