It’s important to know that a lot of productive activity is happening in person and offline, too.

Not all of it can be broadcast online, but we’ve had hundreds of people showing up to our trainings, mobilizations, and more.

Keep going. Tyranny is eroded by a sea of small acts. Everything matters.

The president can veto or support legislation. He can make recommendations to Congress. But he doesn't have the unilateral right to change laws.

Trump has very little respect for the rule of law & our Constitution. He is moving us toward authoritarianism.

We must stop him.

Trump is trying to bully our allies Canada, Colombia, Denmark, and Panama, threatening tariffs if they don't do what he says.

Really?

What about imposing tariffs on drug companies that charge us 10 times more than other countries pay for the same drug?

I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.

“Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.
White House pauses all federal grants, sparking confusion
The Trump administration has put a hold on all federal financial grants and loans, affecting tens of billions of dollars in payments.

President Trump: You do not stand for law and order when you give a free pass to rioters who attacked the police.

In fact, you are signaling that violence is okay and attacking law enforcement is acceptable behavior.

There’s nothing I could say about him here, that you don’t already know.

But as this next chapter of our nation begins, I just want you to know something I feel about you:

I am going to hold you responsible.

#USA: Trump’s new executive orders on #migration are a devastating step backward.

Seeking safety is not a crime.

We are once again calling for the development of safe and humane migration policies in line with domestic and international legal obligations.
