By way of masculine solidarity, I will present a picture representing the only vehicle I've owned that my wife loved (she chooses to not drive, finding the responsibility too onerous). The only thing she regretted about it was that it wasn't Westfalia'd, and she named it Gossamer:

A map of the current borders in the area of the town of Baarle-Nassau, which has several chunks of Belgium enclosed entirely in the Netherlands but also enclosing even smaller sub-parcels of Netherlands. There is a very nice pannenkoeken restaurant across the street from the Baarle-Nassau town hall. Well worth a visit.

My wife participates in drag shows at a local venue. Last night a friend sent her a picture of a recent performance.

I had no idea the spirit of Jack Cardiff was floating around a small Canadian city's drag community.

What occupies the exact point of intersection of “flippin’ delicious in the eating” and “utter pain in the ass to make from scratch”?

I got seduced by a free waffle iron and a need to show my family how much I love them.
Enormous thick fluffy waffles with can-extruded whipped cream and syrup on them. It is just over two hours since they were a mass of flour, eggs, milk and undamaged sanity.
