I seem to be mainly dealing with all the crap going on at the moment by listening to birds singing their springtime songs. Here's who I heard on my way back from the dentist today (via the excellent Merlin Bird ID app from Cornell University).
A list of birds with pictures beside them: Eurasian blackbird, European robin, European goldfinch, dunnock, long-tailed tit, great tit, house sparrow, Eurasian blue tit, Eurasian wren.
