I’m rereading Rage, and I enjoy the rabbit hole I went down with this as the starting point:

I recently watched Heretic and loved it.

Simply a great horror movie. Did a masterful job with creeping dread, mounting uneasiness, etc. And no cheap tricks like jump scares, or excessive gore.

Just a well-done horror story. And the acting was superb. Hugh Grant like you’ve never seen him.

Yes. The underside of the arm (armpit to wrist) is more sensitive, so avoid that.

The only tattoo I had that hurt really at all is the one in the pic below. That one did really sting. Avoid the hand. Fortunately, the one I got was small, so it didn’t rake long. But ouch.

Yes. And cloudscapes are often powerfully dramatic.

I love gazing at the skies.

Yesterday I finished the Shepherd King duology (One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns) by Rachel Gillig, and I heartily recommend it to all lovers of dark fantasy.

Great characters, and an engaging plot that kept me turning pages.

This story is now on my permanent keep/reread shelf.
