The first regional Cranmer Award heat took place at St Botolph’s, Boston.

Congrats to the winners heading to Hampton Court Palace in Feb 2026!

The Cranmer Award is a public-speaking contest for 11–18s using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.

All Saints Church Holbeach celebrated their Patronal Festival with the Bishop of Lincoln, on All Saints Sunday. 

He delivered a hopeful sermon on Christ’s light. 

A local community arts project, Transported, showcased artwork made with local schools, now displayed in the church.

Threekingham Church has received a detailed record book from the Church Recorders Society.

Local volunteers spent months documenting the church's features, preserving its heritage.
This is a rare honour, as Threekingham is only the 32nd church in Lincolnshire to receive such a record in 40 years.

We welcomed Kate Freeman, Shona White, and Marcin Salachna as Ministry Experience Students in our diocese. They were commissioned by the Bishop of Lincoln at St John the Baptist Church. Ermine, Lincoln.

For the very first time, St Botolph’s Church in Boston will host a regional heat of the prestigious Cranmer Award. It is a national public-speaking competition for young people aged 11–18, organised by the Prayer Book Society.
