Nihilism is terrifying because it forces you to accept full responsibility for everything you choose to do, leaving you nothing or no one to pray to or blame. That is a child's biggest fear.

General rule. If you say you are in a fight, you cannot be afraid of violence. You may not condone it, but you can't use the word fight if your not willing to use or stand up to violence when the circumstances call for it.

This did not happen over night. Many people who wonder how it happened have made ALL the same mistakes the USA msde to get to this point. You just haven't realized it. Stay vigilant. Start looking at your own fascists policies before it's too late for you as well.
I still can't get past the idea that people in America are now supposed to accept that this is a valid form of law enforcement and just assume it's fine when random dudes in groups with face-coverings, no ID, no warrant, & no uniform grab people off the street and force them into unmarked vehicles
Not an original point but worth saying again - there is not a single element in this picture that identifies any of these folks as law enforcement agents. No badges, no uniforms, no vests. Out of context it just looks like a bunch of random guys are kidnapping a mayoral candidate.

The recent assassinations the fascists & Republicans created the environment for also gave the left an awesome weapon. The perpetrator disguised himself as their precious police, simultaneously exposing "law enforcement's" real purpose and making every law enforcement agent suspect.

I love it when people try to put me down by using the trope "it must be nice to always be right." I assure them t is and tell them that if you simply strive to be correct, you will find that being right just comes as an added bonus and that they should give it a try.

I wonder if the recent rise in anti-vacine sentiment is just the beginning of the realization that humanity has basically become a virus. Anti-vaxers have accepted that and sadly, surrendered to it. Such folk would understandably be adverse to even the concept of controlling or mitigating a virus.
