the starter gameplay sucks too hard for me to recommend it to anyone until like mid 30s, i just love slapping big buttons

it's gonna be rebuilt, ofc. but its not gonna be quite the same because it's not really gonna help the locals out so much as just be a really cool tourist attraction that was rebuilt using local money and is also a loss maker

the vibe i got there was probably that the owners did not care or have it cross their mind for whatever reason

(my arm actually got cut and hurt for quite a while but there was no infection or permanent damage so nothing much in the grand scheme of things, but ig it could have been a lot worse)

i love dogs (we've had one since i was 10) but one of my strongest memories of venice beach is biking on a slippery sandy bike path when someone walking their dogs with no leash decides to let their dogs cross the bike path at that moment causing me to eat pavement to avoid hitting a dog

i've tried it a few times while visiting LA, i have a pretty positive impression of it atm from how well it dealt with some of the crap that happened on the road (mostly involving cars doing unexpected maneuvers at 999mph and dudes walking onto the road)
